Square Enix and tri-Ace's latest Star Ocean series is coming to the Xbox 360 was announced in the Microsoft Japan RPG press. The title of the game is Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope. The game will be released in 2009. Star Ocean 4 was first announced back in 2007 at the Square Enix Party. Since it is announced that this title will be released on the Xbox 360, the thought of this latest title being a PS3 exclusive is now no longer valid. No word regarding it's appearance on the PS3.

Besides that, another Square Enix published, tri-Ace developed Xbox 360 title; Infinite Undiscovery has been dated for North America on the September 2nd, Europe (September 5th), Japan (September 11th) and Asia (September 11th as well).

Also, the upcoming Square Enix role playing game, The Last Remnant will be getting an Xbox 360 release before the PS3 one. The game will get a simultaneous Xbox 360 release in Japan, North America and Europe at the same time this winter while the PS3 version will arrive later.

These three games look good; but imho, people who get xbox360 are not interested in this type of game; at least for most US players. I'm rpg fan; but unless Microsoft is able to get final fantasy over to xbox360, I have no interest in getting one.
