Japanese illusionist, Cyril Takayama who is best known for his street magic performance in Japan had a television special recently which he did what he did best, magic trick. Apparently, this trick is not just any trick, it involves Metal Gear Solid 4. What coincidence! Since the game is scheduled to be release in June 12, 2008. Looks more like a brilliant marketing strategy coming from Konami to me than being a coincidence. Hello, I've had my fill of traditional fantasy settings and I hope that someone can point me to a book or series preferably that takes place in a modern setting. I've been thinking a lot about how magic would work in modern times and how it would affect things like wars and politics so anything that might touch upon those subjects would be excellent. But just modern magical tales suggestions are very much welcome.
