Walt Disney, in collaboration with Sharp, announced their launch of a new mobile phone, the DM002SH. This Disney mobile will come with a Cinderella theme and feature Disney Mobility service. The phone will be available this June 7th with Softbank in Japan.
Cinderella features a 2.6’’ internal display with a WQVGA resolution (400×240 pixel), a 0.5’’ external OLED display, 50MB of memory, a 2Mpix camera, Bluetooth, microSD slot, and a 1Seg Tuner.
There will be three models made available which are the Clear Crystal, Brown Topaz, and Pink Diamond.
I heard it is unlikely to be release outside of Japan. What a waste.

On the other hand, I found another rather interesting phone from O2. Although the phone is already a last year edition, the O2 Cocoon (click to access the main O2 Cocoon webpage to view the flash version of the phone) amazed me with it's hidden external LED display. A contemporary handset, the O2 Cocoon sports features such as 3G and HSDPA support, large QVGA TFT display, a 2 megapixel camera with flash and 2GB of internal memory. This phone was made available on June 2007. For more information regarding this captivating music-centered phone, click here.
